Post-Knitting

In 2015, Maglificio Tonello expanded its cleaning department for treatment of the knit fabric panels prior to making the garment, equipped with both wet (water) and non-water (hydrocarbon) system machines.

An in-house cleaning department is a huge advantage because it speeds up various steps of the process and gives an accurate picture of yarn and stitch reaction.

When requested, we subject knit fabrics to a pre-ironing treatment either after the knitting process or after sewing.

Our equipment includes sewing machines to expedite sample production. Among these: linking machines, overlockers and straight lock stitchers that also handle small batch production.
